Abstract:

Background: Pre-service courses that prepare teachers for their careers are called “teacher education” courses. Projects, individualized assignments, practical tasks, practise teaching, etc., are all part of this induction and initiation process, which is designed to be open-ended in order to encourage the trainee to take the initiative necessary for continued development.

Objectives: The present investigation will highlight on the importance of Importance of Preservice Teacher Preparation Programmes in Raising Academic Standards.

Methodology: The study is qualitative type. The researcher selected various articles and documents related to pre-service teacher education programme at school level. It is concerned with capturing the richness, complexity, and contextual details of the subject matter under investigation.

Conclusion: Inclusivity, cultural competency, and individualized learning are emphasized throughout the pre-service teacher education curriculum. Incorporating these strategies teaches prospective educators to accommodate a wide range of students’ requirements in the classroom. In sum, it is clear that pre-service teacher education programmes are vital because of how well they prepare future teachers with the information, abilities, and attitudes they’ll need to be successful educators.
