Abstract: Purpose of the present study was to find out the test anxiety level on selected psychological variables between teacher training institutes located in West Medinipur Districts. 100 male student teachers and 100 female student teachers were used as subjects. Age range of the subject between 22-30 years. Anxiety was measured by questioner which develop by Nist and Diehl having five possible ans. “t”-test was used to calculate the collected data. The findings of this study reflected that in significant deference between male student teachers and female student teachers, but female student teachers were more anxiety then male student teachers.
