However, unequal access to digital resources has created a significant digital divide, particularly among school-going children. This article critically examines the concept of the digital divide and its implications for ICT access in school education. It explores the dimensions, causes, and consequences of digital inequality, with special reference to developing countries like India. The study also analyzes policy initiatives, challenges in implementation, and pedagogical implications of ICT integration.
