The study was experimental design where pretest and posttest was applied. The results indicated that the posttest result of IICT was much higher than conventional method in the academic achievement test. Thus the study indicated students and teachers to explore and access up-to-date and diverse information beyond the limitations of traditional textbooks. It offers various tools and technologies that can enhance teaching and learning experiences. Multimedia presentations, interactive whiteboards, and educational software make lessons more engaging and interactive. Virtual simulations and educational games can help students grasp complex concepts and improve their understanding through hands-on experiences.

Keywords: ICT, Traditional Method, Secondary students, Life Science.

Page No: 309-315

download journal

Author: Sujay Maiti DOI Link: https://doi.org/10.70798/Bijmrd/03030034 Abstract: The present study aimed to compare the effects of information and communication technology (ICT)-based and conventional methods of instruction on secondary students’ in teaching life science.
