While social media fosters unprecedented global connectivity, enabling people to maintain relationships and find communities, it also leads to feelings of isolation, loneliness, and superficial interactions. This research delves into the dual nature of social media, highlighting its impact on mental health, particularly in vulnerable populations, and its role in reshaping communication patterns. Additionally, it examines the implications for social identity, community-building, and activism in the digital age.
