This article explores the city\u2019s deep-rooted connection to Hindu rituals, spirituality, and religious practices. With its temples, ghats, and the holy Ganges River, Banaras is considered a sacred place for millions of Hindus who come to attain spiritual liberation, perform rituals, and seek blessings. We will discuss the history of Banaras, its religious importance, its influence on Hindu philosophy, and how the city continues to be a center of pilgrimage, learning, and religious practice.
