This paper explores the development of mathematical models as essential instruments for understanding the dynamics of disease transmission. The models, including compartmental and agent-based frameworks, provide insights into the spread of infections and the Effectiveness of interventions such as vaccination campaigns, isolation protocols, and ecological management. Using case studies, we demonstrate the utility of these models in guiding public health decisions, optimizing resource allocation, and mitigating the impact of outbreaks. The findings underline the importance of integrating epidemiological modelling into global health strategies to improve preparedness and response mechanisms.

Keywords: Emerging Infectious Diseases, Mathematical Modelling, Vaccination Strategies,Public Health Interventions, Compartmental Models, Agent-Based Models, Disease Transmission, Health Policy, Disease Control, Epidemic Simulation

Page No: 119-125

download journal

Author: Jane Alam DOI Link: https://doi.org/10.70798/Bijmrd/020900013 Abstract: Emerging infectious diseases (EIDs) pose critical challenges to global health, demanding innovative tools to predict outbreaks and evaluate interventions.
