Skill-Based and Competency-Oriented Curriculum Design (SBCOCD) has emerged as a transformative educational framework that emphasizes the development of practical skills, measurable competencies, and learner-centered outcomes. This conceptual research paper explores the meaning, need, importance, nature, and integration of skill-based and competency-oriented curriculum design in 21stcentury education. The paper also discusses challenges, methodological approaches, tools, and sampling techniques relevant to conceptual research in education.
