It encompasses a multifaceted approach that goes beyond merely having device, focusing on infrastructure, teacher capability and student access. This thesis examines the digital readiness of Indian schools with a focus on institutional capacity, leadership and change management. The study explores the availability and effective use of digital infrastructure, institutional policies, human resources and technological competencies within schools. It emphasizes the role of school leadership in planning, implementing and sustaining digital transformation initiatives, the study adopts a mixed methods research design combining qualitative and quantitative data from school teachers.
