While economic growth has been a central focus of policy discourse, contemporary development challenges highlight the limitations of a growth-centric model. This paper analyses the need to reframe economic growth within a broader and sustainable development paradigm. By integrating theoretical perspectives, empirical realities, and policy analysis, the study argues that economic growth must be complemented by environmental sustainability.
