Abstract:<\/strong> This paper explores the enduring importance of Sanskrit in Indian culture and the contributions of Nazrul Islam to India\u2019s intellectual renaissance through his advocacy of its use in modern Indian culture. Sanskrit is an ancient language that has played a significant role in Indian culture, philosophy, and religion. Despite its ancient roots, Sanskrit remains a living language in India, with a vibrant community of scholars, teachers, and students who study and use it today. Nazrul Islam was a Bengali poet, musician, and revolutionary who advocated for the use of Sanskrit in modern Indian culture, arguing that it was essential for the development of a modern, intellectual India. In his poetry, Nazrul often incorporated Sanskrit vocabulary and literary techniques, drawing on the language\u2019s rich literary tradition. His contributions to India\u2019s intellectual renaissance were wide- ranging and multifaceted, and his advocacy for the use of Sanskrit highlighted the enduring importance of the language in Indian culture and society.
