Despite several government initiatives, tribal girls in the Jungle Mahal region of West Bengal continue to face multiple barriers in accessing education. These barriers include poverty, early marriage, cultural constraints, and inadequate educational infrastructure. The present paper examines the status of girls\u2019 education among tribal communities in the Jungle Mahal region covering districts such as Paschim Medinipur, Jhargram, Bankura, and Purulia.
