One significant initiative for weaker section taken by libraries is the book bank service. This helps economically weaker students. However, for holistic development, librarians have to play a significant role. This paper discusses briefly about teacher education colleges and their unique needs with respect to book bank facility. The genesis of book bank facility and take further as to how the objectives of NEP 2020 can be partly fulfilled by the book bank strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Keywords:<\/strong>  B.Ed.
