In this context, narratives\u2014particularly fictional literature\u2014have emerged as powerful pedagogical tools capable of shaping students\u2019 emotional and social competencies. This research article explores the significance of fiction in educational settings, examining how narratives foster emotional intelligence, cultivate empathy, and enhance social understanding. Drawing upon interdisciplinary perspectives from education, psychology, and literary studies, the article argues that fiction serves as a transformative medium that enables learners to engage with complex human experiences.
