As a labor-intensive sector, MSMEs promote inclusive growth by providing livelihood opportunities in rural and semi-urban areas. Within this framework, the jute industry occupies a distinctive position due to its agro-based nature, eco-friendly products, and strong linkages with small producers and traditional artisans. India is one of the largest producers of raw jute and jute goods, and a substantial portion of this sector operates under the MSME category. The jute-based MSMEs contribute to foreign exchange earnings through the export of diversified products such as jute bags, carpets, handicrafts, and geo-textiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With increasing global emphasis on sustainable and biodegradable alternatives to plastic, jute MSMEs have gained renewed importance. Government initiatives such as financial assistance schemes, cluster development programs, and policy support for sustainable packaging have further strengthened the sector. However, challenges including outdated technology, limited access to credit, market competition, and infrastructural constraints continue to affect productivity and profitability. Teacher Educators of Janglemahal: With Special Reference to Purulia District\u201d investigates the professional skills, pedagogical practices, and competency levels of teacher educators working in Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) institutions. Situated within the socio-economically diverse and educationally challenged region of Janglemahal, Purulia district presents unique conditions that influence teacher education quality. The research examines core teaching competencies such as instructional planning, content mastery, classroom management, learner-centred pedagogy, assessment skills, ICT integration, and reflective practices. Using a mixed-method approach, data were collected through questionnaires, interviews and classroom observations from teacher educators across government and private D.El.Ed. institutions. The findings reveal variations in competency levels influenced by institutional resources, professional training, and contextual challenges. The study highlights the need for continuous professional development, improved infrastructure, and context-sensitive training modules to enhance the quality of elementary teacher education in the region. Overall, the study contributes to understanding the current status of teacher educators competencies in Janglemahal and provides recommendations for strengthening teacher education programmes in Purulia district.This study examines the teaching competencies of D.El.Ed. teacher educators in the Janglemahal region of Purulia District in the light of NEP 2020, focusing on pedagogical skills, professional preparedness and contextual responsiveness. This study examines the role of financial literacy in enhancing economic empowerment by improving individuals\u2019 capacity to make informed financial decisions related to savings, credit, investment, insurance, and entrepreneurship. Increased financial awareness contributes to greater participation in formal banking systems, reduces dependence on informal credit sources, and strengthens household financial resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The paper highlights key opportunities such as government-led financial inclusion initiatives, integration of financial education in academic curricula, digital payment expansion, and the role of self-help groups and microfinance institutions in rural outreach. At the same time, challenges including low awareness levels, digital divide, language barriers, socio-cultural constraints, and limited access to quality financial education hinder widespread impact. Key objectives encompass evaluating inequality levels, analysing employment differences, pinpointing social and economic drivers, and recommending targeted interventions. Findings underscore persistent rural-urban divides, with lower female enrolment and workforce participation rates rejecting both hypotheses, fueled by patriarchal norms, poverty, and infrastructural deficits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preliminary analyses via chi-square tests reveal stark gaps: rural female secondary completion at 45% versus 68% urban, alongside 20.6% female labor participation skewed toward informal sectors. Ambedkar regarding political representation for the depressed and marginalized classes (now Dalits). Roy argues that the Poona Pact was a turning point that shaped India\u2019s democratic structure while simultaneously limiting Dalit political autonomy and she sees the Pact as giving structure to Indian democracy while simultaneously undercutting Dalit political freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through close reading, historical contextualisation, and ideological comparison, this paper analyses how Roy exposes contradictions in Gandhi\u2019s moral politics and foregrounds Ambedkar\u2019s critique of caste hierarchy and reveals the flaws or inconsistencies in Mahatma Gandhi\u2019s moral and political ideas and also Roy brings attention to, or emphasizes, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar\u2019s strong criticism of the caste system (caste hierarchy). The ability to talk and interact with others pleasantly in addition to being good looking, would make others say that the person concerned has a good personality. Persons who do not have good looks or not well dressed or do not interact adequately are considered to have poor personality, butpsychologically this is not a true concept of personality. In fact, psychologists consider any attempt to define personality in terms of social attractiveness inadequate because of two reasons, first it limits the number and types of behavior considered important and worthy for incorporation into the study of personality. Professional commitment refers to a mind-set reflecting loyalty and willingness to give one\u2019s all to a particular person, principle or plan of action. This research paper compares the degree of professional commitment of secondary teachers in relation to their gender, educational qualification, management, teaching experience. Commitment is seen to be one of the most desirable attributes of a teacher. For B.Ed. students, the policy envisions competency-based training, multidisciplinary exposure, extended field engagement, and professional standards aligned with global benchmarks. This research paper examines the transformative framework introduced by NEP 2020 and its implications for pre-service teacher preparation. Using a qualitative analytical method, the study reviews policy guidelines, teacher education models, and emerging challenges. Findings reveal that NEP 2020 significantly redefines teacher training through a four-year integrated B.Ed. programme, enhanced school internships, digital pedagogy, and continuous professional development. Glass (2011) opined that effective teachers have high expectations for all students and help them to learn and to bring positive academic, attitudinal and social outcomes for the betterment of society. In the 21st century, people equipped with technology at the workplace are most especially those experiencing techno-stress. People are sitting and facing computer monitors for a longer time which results in physical strain. In the 21st century work environment, people spend hours a day at work because it is critical to their security and job satisfaction. Consequences of techno-stress include decreased job satisfaction, organizational commitment and productivity. A periodic assessment is necessary to check the level of techno-stress affecting professionals, especially the physical and emotional aspects. The objectives of the study are to find out significant difference if any in the teacher effectiveness and techno stress of teachers in relation to gender, locale and educational qualification. The descriptive method of survey was adopted. The sample of this study consisted of secondary school teachers of Murshidabad. The findings of the study were that there was significant difference in teacher effectiveness of teachers in relation to gender and locale and non-significant in educational qualification variations. There was significant difference in techno stress of teachers in relation to locale and educational qualification and non-significant in gender variations. Digital pedagogy emphasizes the effective use of technological tools to enhance instructional practices and student learning outcomes. In the context of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, technology integration has gained greater importance in ensuring quality, equity, and accessibility in education. The present study aims to examine the level of technology integration and digital pedagogy practices among secondary school teachers. A descriptive survey method was adopted for the study. The sample consisted of 120 secondary school teachers selected using a random sampling technique. Data were collected using a self-developed questionnaire on Technology Integration and Digital Pedagogy. Statistical techniques such as mean, standard deviation, t-test, and graphical representation were used for data analysis. The findings reveal that teachers demonstrate a moderate level of technology integration and digital pedagogy practices. No significant difference was found based on gender. With rapid changes in financial markets, digitalization of banking services, availability of multiple financial products, and increasing cost of living, individuals are required to possess basic financial knowledge to make informed decisions. College students, who are at the threshold of independent financial life, must be equipped with adequate financial literacy to manage income, expenses, savings, and future financial goals effectively. The present study focuses on assessing the level of financial literacy among college students of Gadchiroli city. The study attempts to evaluate students\u2019 awareness and practices related to expense prioritization, comparison shopping, borrowing behavior, and saving habits. Primary data were collected through a structured questionnaire administered to 100 college students from different faculties in Gadchiroli city. Secondary data were obtained from books, journals, and online sources. The findings reveal that while a significant proportion of students demonstrate responsible financial behavior in terms of price comparison and saving habits, a large number still lack systematic expense planning. Commerce students were found to be relatively more financially aware compared to students from other faculties. Overall, the level of financial literacy among college students in Gadchiroli city was found to be satisfactory.
